Today we did our
trip to Portsmouth. When we arrived we instantly went to an “Action Station”, which indirectly appears as a large advertisement campaign for the Royal Naval and the military in general.
Nonetheless we had lots of fun because we could try out many activities that included sports such as climbing. A group of boys also played Laser -tech. After that we visited the HMS Victory, the
famous ship which led the British fleet under the command of Admiral Lord Nelson in the famous Battle of Trafalgar. Afterwards the whole battle was vividly displayed in the Navy Museum, which was
very impressive and interesting.
Then we went to Spinnaker Tower and went up all the way to the first platform. The view was absolutely amazing. Afterwards we had 1,5 hours of free time which we spent eating, shopping or just
relaxing in the sun. This is the end of the very cool trip to Portsmouth. At 15:45 we were driven back to Odiham and we spent the rest of the day with our exchange partners. It was a really cool
day and we enjoyed it very much. [by Justus, Jakob, Leonard and Alica]
